The last time I crossed the street there, I noticed that one of the 4 markers was missing; there was an empty hole in the street where it used to be. The location of the corner of Goffe's College is marked by what may qualify as the most dangerous-to-view historical marker in town: <a href="http://www.vastpublicindifference.com/2010/12/gravestone-of-day-james-smith.html" rel="nofollow">a brass plate in the pavement in the middle of Mass.
