Last month, and yet only last week, I mentioned a special tour up the steeple of the Old South Meeting-House.
So how did that tour end up?
It ended up like this.
And here's the spooky part: Bostonians have been able to look down from Old South on that small brick building now known as the Old Corner Bookstore for over 250 years—since before George Washington was born. The shop below was built in 1712 (for an apothecary), and Old South in 1729.
Thanks for blogging about the steeple tour. I made the climb on Saturday with a friend and her two sons. Very interesting.
