Patriots’ Day Weekend 2010

Patriots’ Day weekend is nigh upon us, and there are too many commemorative events to list them all. So here are some handy listings elsewhere:

Myself, I plan to attend the New England Historical Association conference at Salem State College, the Lincoln Salute if the weather’s fair, and the Boston Marathon four blocks from my house.

If you are anywhere near Roxbury, first, come to the First Church Roxbury to celebrate the start of William Dawes's Midnight Ride to Lexington. Then follow Dawes and head across the river and up the road to Lexington Green for the battle re-enactment at 5:30 pm.

Elsewhere, Ron Newman has point out that I've got my AMs and PMs mixed up. We should go to Lexington Green first (5:30 am), then we can head over to the yard at First Church Roxbury for the doings from 8 am to 12:30 pm.

My apologies.
