Patriots’ Day Weekend 2010
Patriots’ Day weekend is nigh upon us, and there are too many commemorative events to list them all. So here are some handy listings elsewhere:
- The Battle Road events.
- Celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Longfellow’s “Paul Revere’s Ride.”
- Lexington Historical Society’s schedule.
- The National Heritage Museum’s displays—plus, a Jim Henson exhibit.
- The Paul Revere House’s school vacation schedule.

If you are anywhere near Roxbury, first, come to the First Church Roxbury to celebrate the start of William Dawes's Midnight Ride to Lexington. Then follow Dawes and head across the river and up the road to Lexington Green for the battle re-enactment at 5:30 pm.

Elsewhere, Ron Newman has point out that I've got my AMs and PMs mixed up. We should go to Lexington Green first (5:30 am), then we can head over to the yard at First Church Roxbury for the doings from 8 am to 12:30 pm.
My apologies.
